The Sahara Impact Fund Fellowship program is targeted at identifying and empowering young African social innovators and entrepreneurs with business enterprises that are helping to improve energy access and promote sustainable environments across the region.

The program which is in partnership with LEAP Africa and Impact Amplifier is set up to upskill and equip beneficiaries with the resources and network access they need to grow their businesses and in turn accelerate Africa’s development.

This year, we had our second cohort comprising of 21 participants drawn from 11 countries, making a total of 31 participants impacted by the programme since its launch in 2020.

At the end of the three-month Fellowship, the top ten Fellows from this year’s program each received a seed funding of $5000 to support their business growth
